MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641063292 A) filed by Radha Abburi, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, on May 19, for '"a fully automated hybrid deep learning based continuous remote fetal monitoring and preterm labor prediction system".'

Inventor(s) include Radha Abburi.

The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a fully automated hybrid deep learning based continuous remote fetal monitoring and preterm labor prediction system using Phonocardiography (PCG) and Electro Hysterography (EHG) signals. The system comprises a wearable device layer, an edge processing layer, and a secure cloud layer for real-time maternal and fetal health monitoring. PCG and EHG sensors acquire fetal heart rate, maternal heart rate, and uterine activity signals, which are preprocessed using Weight-based Savitzky-Golay Filter (WSGF), Runner Game Optimizer based Independent Component Analysis (RGO-ICA), Enhanced Median Filter (EMF), and Least Square Support Vector Machine (LSSVM). A Deep Markov Model (DMM) based segmentation module and Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) generate collaborative three-dimensional correlation graphs for feature extraction and fetal distress classification using Contextual Axial Reverse Attention Network (CARANet). Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) predicts preterm labor, while Boosted Cha Cha (B-Cha Cha) ensures secure storage and transmission of physiological data."
