MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311088204 A) filed by Hero Motocorp Limited, New Delhi, on Dec. 22, 2023, for 'a fuel tank mount system.'
Inventor(s) include Kumar, Saurav; and Sengupta, Suharto.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention pertains to a fuel tank mount system (201) comprising a main vehicle body frame (100) extending in a front to rear direction; a fuel tank (101) mounted on the vehicle body frame; and a cushioning member (102) disposed between the fuel tank (101) and the main vehicle body frame (100), wherein the cushioning member (102) is constituted of a combination of at least two cushioning members, a first cushioning member (103), which allows resting provision for the fuel tank; and a second cushioning member (104) in connection with the vehicle body frame, and wherein the first cushioning member (103) is of lower density in comparison to the density of the second cushioning member (104) and the material of the first (103) and the second cushioning (104) member are same or different. The invention in an embodiment relates to method of assembling a fuel tank mount system (201)."
