MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441011532 A) filed by TVS Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Feb. 19, 2024, for 'a fuel injection system and a method thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Pradheep Rajasekaran; Marimuthu Lakshmanan; Nagarjun Reddy Mosali; Ravindra Ramchandra Rane; and Hariharan Ramar.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present subject matter relates generally to a fuel injection system (200) and the method (300) for purging a fuel pressure in a fuel injector (201) of a fuel injection system (200). The fuel injection system (200) comprises a fuel injector (201), a control unit, and a regulating member. The control unit is configured to orchestrate a purge cycle upon a first value exceeding a second value. The purge cycle comprises a cyclic activation and deactivation of the fuel injector (201) at a predefined frequency for a predefined duration. The regulating member is configured to be controlled by the control unit in order to simultaneously halt the supply of the gaseous fuel from at least one fuel reservoir (202) to the fuel injector (201) during the orchestration of the purge cycle for the predefined duration."
