MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611001093 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Technology, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, on Jan. 5, for 'a frequency domain digital twin system for grid-integrated photovoltaic assemblies.'

Inventor(s) include Pandey, Rituvic; and Kumar, Nishant.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a frequency domain digital twin system (100) for a grid-integrated PhotoVoltaic (PV) assembly (102) and a corresponding method (800). The system includes a state-space model configured to represent dynamics of a physical PV assembly (102) in the frequency domain. The state-space model is discretised using a tustin transformation representing the physical PV assembly (102). An extraction filter module configured to extract fundamental voltage components from measured grid signals received from the physical PV assembly (102). A parameter estimation module configured to estimate, in real-time, parameters of the physical PV assembly (102). The frequency domain digital twin system (100) is configured to reproduce voltages and currents of the physical PV assembly (102) based on the state-space model and the estimated parameters."
