Inventor(s) include Avni Jain.

The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A footwear (100) with a replaceable heel (101), includes a footwear body having a sole (108), a first coupling component (102) fixed to the sole (108), and a replaceable heel unit (101) removably attachable to the first coupling component (102). The replaceable heel unit (101) includes a second coupling component (104) having a slot (1042), and a third component (106) permanently fixed to the second coupling component (104) and forming a ground-contacting heel portion. The first coupling component (102) includes a projecting member (1022) configured to enter the slot (1042) when the replaceable heel unit (101) is aligned with and pushed toward the sole (108) in an insertion orientation. Relative rotation between the first coupling component (102) and the replaceable heel unit (101) moves the replaceable heel unit (101) to a locked orientation resisting withdrawal during wear. Different replaceable heel units may be selectively attached to the same footwear body."
