MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006510 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 31, 2024, for 'a food recommendation system and a method thereof abstract.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a food recommendation system (100), comprising a user profile module (102) configured to gather and store a general details of a user, a processing unit (104) operatively connected to the user profile module (102). Further, the processing unit (104) incorporates protocols to analyse user profile data and generate personalized food recommendations, real-time weather integration for suggesting weather-appropriate food choices and mood analysis capabilities to tailor recommendations to user's emotional state. Further a user interface (106) for displaying plurality of food recommendations. Further, the plurality of food recommendations involves recipe suggestions with ingredient ordering options, meal orders from nearby restaurants, a centralized feedback and review prompt for user-generated content. Further, a machine learning module (108) integrated with the processing unit (104) to continuously update user profiles based on interactions and feedback and refine results of the processing unit (104) to enhance personalization and user satisfaction."
