MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421005586 A) filed by Higgsfleet Innovations Private Limited, Pune, Maharashtra, on Jan. 29, 2024, for 'a fluid dispensing apparatus.'

Inventor(s) include Nandan Ravindra Gite.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A fluid dispensing apparatus (100) automatically determines fluid level and controls dispensing operation via a fluid dispensing unit (102), microphone (104), memory (106), and processor (108). The processor (108) activates the fluid dispensing unit (102) to start dispensing into a vessel (202) upon receiving a dispensing cycle activation signal, enabling fluid to fill the vessel (202) placed under the fluid dispensing unit (102). The microphone (104) continually captures sound signals generated during fluid filling the vessel (202). The processor (108) compares these sound signals with reference patterns stored in the memory (106) that correspond to predefined vessel fluid levels to determine the current real-time vessel fill status. Upon detecting that the vessel (202) fill level has reached a specified threshold based on the sound analysis, the processor (108) deactivates the fluid dispensing operation."
