MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202614027016 A) filed by Guangzhou Zhonghao Decorative Materials Co. Ltd., Guangzhou City, China, on March 7, for 'a fixed structure for synthetic-feather shuttlecock.'

Inventor(s) include He, Peizhong; and He, Haoxuan.

The application for the patent was published on May 1, under issue no. 18/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a fixed structure for a simulated shuttlecock, wherein the synthetic feathers are connected to the fixing kit via a snap-fit mechanism. This design significantly enhances the bond strength between the synthetic feathers and the fixing kit, effectively preventing the synthetic feathers from becoming loose or even falling off during use. As a result, it ensures the overall performance and lifespan of the simulated shuttlecock. Compared to existing technologies, this application eliminates the need for processes such as applying glue, curing, and other cumbersome steps, thereby greatly simplifying the production process, reducing the requirements for operator skills, increasing production efficiency, and facilitating large-scale industrial production. When glue is used, air bubbles and excess glue within the socket can be expelled through overflow ports or channels."
