More particularly, the present invention relates to a stable, oral, extended-release composition of Cilnidipine & Metoprolol Succinate or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, one or more extended-release polymer, and pharmaceutical acceptable excipients. The present invention also relates to a method of preparation of extended-release bi-layer composition of Cilnidipine & Metoprolol Succinate and its use in the treatment of hypertension."
