MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511134125 A) filed by Manipal University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Dec. 31, 2025, for 'a five-factor sustainability framework for estimating student satisfaction.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a novel analytical method with predicting student satisfaction in higher education. The method integrates five dimensions, i.e., 'Academic & Career Sustainability', 'Teaching and Learning', 'Support Facilities', 'Green & Eco-friendly Campus', and 'Well Being & Social Sustainability'; to estimate the Student Satisfaction. The constructs are identified by taking semi structured interviews from university students. The invention introduces a systematic framework that quantifies relationships among academic, administrative and infrastructural and elements using structural equation modelling technique. The model provides institutions with an evidence-based approach to evaluate service delivery, identify improvement areas and optimize student experience. This method provides an automated, replicable and institution-scalable mechanism to predict satisfaction, generate actionable insights, and support institutional decision-making."
