MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025153 A) filed by Chakr Innovation Private Limited, New Delhi, on March 28, 2024, for 'a filter assembly for filtering a liquid.'

Inventor(s) include Nayan Anand; Karan Raikar; and Gaurav Shukla.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Present disclosure relates to a filter assembly (100) and a filter system (200) for filtering a liquid. The filter assembly comprises a housing (102) defined with a first end (102a) and a second end (102b) in a longitudinal direction (L-L). There is a diffuser (104) provisioned at the first end of the housing to uniformly distribute the liquid inlet into the housing. The filter assembly includes a holder (106) extending between the first end and the second end and provisioned within the housing and a filter membrane (108) provisioned within the holder. The holder is configured to support the filter membrane. The filter assembly further includes a cover member (110) provisioned at the second end of the housing. The filter membrane is configured to filter-out impurities from the liquid, and the housing and the cover member holds the impurities."
