MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202431032503 A) filed by Hypace Solutions Private Limited, Kamrup, Assam, on April 24, 2024, for 'a feul cell system for enhanced thermal management.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A fuel cell system comprising a fuel cell assembly (100) is provided. The fuel cell assembly (100) comprises a fuel cell stack (114) comprising a plurality of fuel cells. Each fuel cell comprises a plurality of bi-polar plates sub-assembly comprising a pair of bi-polar plates including an anode plate (506) and a cathode plate (502), the cathode plate (502) having a plurality of channels (602); and a Membrane Electrode Assembly (MEA) plate interposed between the pair of the bi-polar plates. A pair of elliptical-shape compression plates (106, 108) is disposed at opposing axial ends of the fuel cell stack (114) configured to apply compressive force via a plurality of tie rods. A plurality of fans (102, 104) is disposed at the elliptical foci of the compression plates (106, 108) configured to generate pressurized bidirectional radial airflow across the fuel cell stack 114."
