MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202313083497 A) filed by Havells India Limited, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Dec. 7, 2023, for 'a fascia plate assembly for a moulded case circuit breaker (mccb).'
Inventor(s) include Saurabh Singh; Pooja Sahu; Sapandeep Singh; Nitin Rawal; and Umashankar Shanmugaraj.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Described herein is a fascia plate assembly [108] for a moulded case circuit breaker (MCCB) [100]. The fascia plate assembly [108] comprises a fascia plate [116], at least one parameter indicator [126], and at least one trip indicator arrangement [200]. Notably, the at least one trip indicator arrangement [200] is defined proximal to one of a bottom and top end portions [116c, 116b] of the fascia plate [116], along either side of the at least one parameter indicator [126]. With such an arrangement, the at least one trip indicator arrangement [200] of the fascia plate assembly [108] facilitates determination of the fault condition being one of a thermal overload condition and a high-current condition of the MCCB [100]."
