MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441076022 A) filed by Cummins Inc., Columbus, U.S.A., on Oct. 8, 2024, for 'a fan support, an engine system, and a method of assembly.'
Inventor(s) include Madhuri Vilasrao Ardhapure; Govind Trimbakrao Phad; Nilesh Anil Ghodke; Arun Jyoti Pathak; Swarada Hemant Anawkar; and Mayur Sudhir Pote.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A fan support includes a fan support body defining a fan support aperture positioned along a longitudinal axis through the fan support body. A first fan support foot protrudes from the fan support body in a radial direction relative to the longitudinal axis. A second fan support foot is adjacent the first fan support foot. A third fan support foot protrudes from the fan support body in a radial direction relative to the longitudinal axis. A fourth fan support foot is adjacent the third fan support foot. Each of the first fan support foot, the second fan support foot, the third fan support foot, and the fourth fan support foot define a fan support fastener aperture."
