MUMBAI, India, July 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511061177 A) filed by Kiet Group Of Institutions, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, on June 26, for 'a dual-module system for skin condition detection using machine learning.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a dual-module system for skin condition detection using machine learning. More specifically, to a portable diagnostic device and a smartphone application that capture skin images, analyze them using embedded or cloud-based machine learning models and provide diagnostic information. The system has two parts. The first is a small device with a camera and screen that works without the internet. It shows the name of the skin disease, its severity and nearby doctors. The second is a mobile app that uses the phone's camera and needs internet to work. It shows similar results and saves history. This invention helps people, especially in remote areas to check their skin problems early and get medical help in time. It is easy to use, affordable and useful for personal and medical use."
