MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202221064606 A) filed by Vehicle Factory, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, on Nov. 11, 2022, for 'a drilling jig for rear casing of gun port of mine protected vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Chief General Manager.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to provides drilling jig rear casing is specially for gun port which is used in military vehicle. The jig comprises four equispaced counterbore hole for assay. purpose i.e., assay of front casing and rear casing of gunport within bullet proof glass and one counter bore hole is to be created for assay of handle which is used for opening and closing the cover of Gun port."
