MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541133739 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Technology, Hyderabad, Telangana, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'a donor-acceptor organic fluorophores for oleds and process of preparation thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Sivakumar Vaidyanathan; Sabita Patel; and Bhabana Priyadarshini Debata.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a fluorophore of Formula (I) for OLED device: Formula (I) wherein R is selected independently from hydrogen, methyl, t-butyl; R1 and R2 are independently selected from hydrogen or methyl; R3 and R4 are independently a hydrogen, or R3 and R4 combine together to form a 6-membered ring, and X is C or N. The present disclosure also relates to a method of preparation thereof."
