According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a device (100) for rehabilitation of cranial defects. The device (100) is adapted to treat the cranial defects and osseointegrate with the skull bone (10) to restore the skull bone (10). The device (100) comprises of an implant (110) configured to be secured with the skull bone (10) at the cranial defect (20), at least one angled abutment (120) to be attached to the implant (110) and oriented to accommodate within concavity of the cranial defect (20) and a prosthetic body (130) configured to match and cover the cranial defect (20) along with the skull bone (10). The invention also describes a method of rehabilitating the cranial defect (20) using the device (100)."
