The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A device designed to reduce intentional tremors in patients with cerebellar ataxia features bands placed below the elbow and at the wrist of the upper limb. The elbow band provides proprioceptive loading and stabilization, damping tremor oscillations for smoother movement, while the wrist band targets the carpal tunnel to reduce hand tremors. The device may include a remote control for pressure modulation, a sensor system for monitoring pressure intensity, and safety features like force limiting and ergonomic design. It offers non-invasive, portable, and adjustable solutions, combining biomechanical support with inhibitory techniques and proprioceptive stimulus to enhance functional motor retraining."
