According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a device (100) for recognizing and authenticating currency notes. The device includes a finger-worn housing (10) enclosing a plurality of sensors (20,30,40) including a micro-camera module (20), a magnetic and infrared sensor (30), an optical reflectance sensor (40) and an inertial measurement unit. A processing and recognition unit (50) is operatively coupled to the plurality of sensors (20,30,40) and processes sensor data to determine the denomination and authenticity of the currency note. The device (100) further includes a feedback system comprising an audio feedback module (60) and a haptic feedback module (70) to provide audible and tactile outputs corresponding to recognition results. A power supply (80) provides electrical power to the device components. A wireless communication interface provides the transmission of recognition results to an external computing device for storage or further processing."
