MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411007865 A) filed by Minda Corporation Limited, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 5, 2024, for 'a device for inline connection between electrical systems.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a device (100) for enabling in-line connection between electrical systems. The device (100) includes a shell (10) defined with a cavity (11) and a cylindrical seal (60) positioned at an opening of the cavity (11) to receive a connecting member (70) from one of the electrical systems therethrough in the cavity (11). Further, the device includes a flange (12) protruding from an outer surface of the shell (10). The flange (12) is configured to enable mounting of the device (100) onto one of the electrical system. Furthermore busbar (90) defined with a first end connectable to the connecting member and a second end connectable one electrical system. Additionally, the device includes a cover member (20) pivotally coupled to the shell and configured to securely enclose the connection of the connecting member with the first end of the busbar within the cavity of the shell."
