MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441016360 A) filed by Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited; and Robert Bosch Gmbh, Bangalore, Karnataka, on March 7, 2024, for 'a device for improving vibration robustness in a control unit.'

Inventor(s) include Chandran Shreepathy; Bharath Narahari Rao; Navaneethakrishnan Selvaraj; and Hass Wolfgang.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A device for improving vibration robustness in a control unit. The control unit 12 comprises a printed circuit board (PCB) 14 having multiple soldered components 16 and a cover 18 enclosed on the PCB 14 and the multiple soldered components 16. The device 10 comprises a component support frame 20 enclosing an open end of the multiple soldered components 16 on the PCB 14. The device 10 comprises a first connecting element 22 positioned between a top surface 24 of the component support frame 20 and a bottom surface 26 of the cover 18. The device 10 further comprises a second connecting element 28 positioned between a bottom surface 30 of the component support frame 20 and a top surface 32 of at least one the component 16."
