MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511117061 A) filed by Graphic Era, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, on Nov. 25, 2025, for 'a device for harvesting electricity.'

Inventor(s) include Anjas Asrani; and Brijesh Prasad.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a device (100) for harvesting electricity comprising: a body cover (102); a lid (103) having mounting holes, wherein said lid is removable; an armature (104), wherein said armature (104) is winded with copper; a direct current motor; and a connecting wire output (105); wherein said direct current (DC) motor comprises: a plurality of planetary gears (106); and a rotating shaft (107). The main motive of the device of the present invention is to harvest electricity from the DC motor while the motor is converting electricity into mechanical motion side by side."
