The device (100) comprising a base (10) configured to place a hand of a patient, a base magnet (20) disposed on a top surface (12) of the base (10) corresponding to a finger region of the hand, a plurality of straps (30) arranged on the base (10), a plurality of covers (40) configured to be worn on respective fingers of the patient, a cover magnet (50) configured on a back side of the plurality of covers (40), wherein each cover magnet (50) is arranged in a spatial relationship with a corresponding base magnet (20) such that, during movement of the fingers of the patient, a magnetic force is generated between the cover magnet (50) and the base magnet (20), the magnetic force influencing the movement of the fingers to facilitate controlled therapeutic motion."
