MUMBAI, India, Jan. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541125091 A) filed by Sastra Deemed University, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, on Dec. 11, 2025, for 'a device for envisaging polycystic ovary syndrome.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. J. Sangeetha; and Dr. M. Priyanka.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A device (100) for envisaging polycystic ovary syndrome that is embedded or installed on a computing device, is disclosed. The disclosed device (100) offers at least the following advantages: is simple in construction; cost-effective and accessible; offers high accuracy and precision; is suitable for resource-limited clinical environments, including smaller clinics and rural areas."
