Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'A Defrosting System Of An Appliance' Filed by Lg Electronics Inc.

MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411076181 A) filed by Lg Electronics Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Oct. 8, 2024, for 'a defrosting system of an appliance.'

Inventor(s) include Tripathi Shubhankar Ranjan.

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A defrosting system (110) of an appliance is provided. The defrosting system (110) includes a thermosyphon (112) coupled in tandem with an evaporator (108) of an appliance, a heater (113) coupled at the bottom of the thermosyphon (112) to heat the thermosyphon (112) for defrosting the evaporator (108) and a secondary refrigerant provided inside the thermosyphon (112) that conducts heat from the heater (113) coupled at the bottom of the thermosyphon (112) to the top of the thermosyphon (112) to facilitate the faster defrosting of the evaporator (108)."
