MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441033092 A) filed by K. Ramakrishnan College Of Technology, Trichy, Tamil Nadu, on April 26, 2024, for 'a coolant system for mini pcs.'

Inventor(s) include Ms. R. Monish Vidyarthi; Mr. P. B. Aravind Prasad; and Mrs. D. Deena Rose.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a Mini Coolant PCS designed to efficiently dissipate heat from small form factor computers. It comprises a specially formulated coolant with properties optimized for heat transfer. The coolant is a mixture of water and additives such as glycol, inhibitors, and anti-bacterial agents. The water serves as the primary heat transfer medium, while the additives improve thermal conductivity and prevent corrosion and microbial growth The Mini Coolant PCS also includes a pump and tubing designed to circulate the coolant throughout the system. The pump is flexible and durable, ensuring reliable operation. The tubing is also flexible and durable, allowing for easy routing within the computer case. The radiator in the Mini Coolant PCS is equipped with a series of fins that increase its surface area, enhancing heat dissipation. Fans attached to the radiator help dissipate heat more efficiently by increasing airflow over the fins. Overall, the Mini Coolant PCS is a sophisticated cooling solution designed to keep small form factor computers cool and running efficiently. Its specially formulated coolant, combined with a pump, tubing, radiator, and fans, ensures effective heat dissipation, preventing overheating and ensuring optimal performance."
