MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411070853 A) filed by Lg Electronics Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Sept. 19, 2024, for 'a condenser assembly of a direct cool (dc) refrigerator.'

The application for the patent was published on April 10, under issue no. 15/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A condenser assembly (102) of a Direct Cool (DC) refrigerator (100) is provided. The condenser assembly (102) includes a plurality of helical condenser tubes (202) horizontally arranged on a surface of the refrigerator (100) and is mechanically coupled with a compressor of the refrigerator (100) for circulating refrigerant and a pair of fins (204) having a predetermined shape coupled on the surface of each helical condenser tube (302) of the plurality of helical condenser tubes (202) that increases the overall contact surface area with the condenser tubes for enhancing the effective heat transfer rate between the ambient air and the condenser tubes."
