MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641041864 A) filed by Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai, Tamil Nadu, on April 1, for 'a computer-implemented method and system for adaptive document classification using contextual deep learning.'
Inventor(s) include P. Loganathan; K. Kodeeswari; and M Ramesh.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention covers a system and method for adaptive document classification using contextual deep learning, wherein documents from heterogeneous data sources are validated, pre-processed, and converted to context-aware representations. A deep learning module extracts hierarchical features and executes adaptive classification based on confidence evaluation. Model parameters are dynamic and updated without full retraining, thus being able to continuously adapt. Improved classification accuracy and lower latency of the method and system, along with efficiency in resource utilization, have made them viable in large-scale document processing environments."
