MUMBAI, India, Dec. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511086177 A) filed by ICAR-IIRMR, Bharatpur, Rajasthan, on Sept. 10, for 'a composition of mustard meal-powder for dandruff treatment.'
Inventor(s) include Anubhuti Sharma; P K Rai; Ashok Kumar; Vinod Kumar; S K Tyagi; and V V Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a mustard meal powder for dandruff treatment which is a dried formulation made up of mustard powder and other dried medicinal herbs. It is utilized for control of scalp dandruff. This formulation is designed to lower down the fungus from infected scalp by 100% for more than a week. This is an anti-dandruff treatment that nourishes the scalp to fight with fungus. It is 100% herbal as it includes improved mustard meal with medicinal herbs."
