MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511032799 A) filed by Ytiliga Private Limited, New Delhi, on April 2, 2025, for 'a composition for use in uroprotective support and prevention of urinary tract infections.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a composition for use in uroprotective support and prevention of urinary tract infections (UTI) and a method thereof. The composition of the present invention comprises one or more active ingredients comprising one or more antiadhesive ingredients preventing adhesion of bacteria to the urinary tract wall, one or more anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidants protecting urinary tract membranes, and Liposomal Vitamin C. The invention also discloses a method to obtain said composition. The composition of the present invention is provided in various oral solid dosage forms such as chewable tablets, capsules, orally disintegrating tablets, powdered sachets and liquid oral dosage forms including syrups, suspensions, and reconstitutable liquids for reconstitution with advanced delivery systems such as liposomal encapsulation for enhancing bioavailability of select nutrients, ensuring superior therapeutic efficacy."
