Inventor(s) include Dr. Rupesh Kumar Pandey; Dr. Avnesh Kumar; and Dr. Lubhan Singh.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a novel herbal hair gel formulation comprising synergistic extracts of Murraya koenigii and Aloe barbadensis integrated with a Phyto-encapsulated bioactive release system for enhanced scalp nourishment and hair health. The formulation incorporates purified plant extracts into a natural gel matrix containing aloe mucilage and plant-derived polymers, enabling gentle application and improved stability. A portion of the bioactive constituents is entrapped within natural biopolymer-based microcapsules, providing controlled and sustained release of nutrients to hair follicles. This dual-phase delivery mechanism ensures immediate hydration from free-active components and long-lasting therapeutic action from encapsulated actives. The invention addresses limitations of conventional hair gels, which rely on synthetic chemicals and lack long-term efficacy, by offering a safe, natural, and effective alternative for reducing hair fall, strengthening roots, restoring scalp moisture, and supporting early-stage alopecia management. The formulation is stable, non-irritating, and suitable for regular cosmeceutical use."
