MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511122000 A) filed by A One Traders, New Delhi, on Dec. 4, 2025, for 'a collapsible tent assembly and a method of collapsing the same.'

Inventor(s) include Mohd. Asraf; and Mohammed Saad.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention provides a collapsible mosquito net and/or tent assembly featuring a continuous flexible frame member that defines a tunnel-shaped elongated enclosure when deployed and a compact reduced-diameter form when collapsed. A fabric shell is secured to the frame, while reinforcement zones positioned along key boundaries regulate bending radii and guide controlled deformation. The assembly collapses through a coordinated sequence of longitudinal compression, torsional rotation into a figure-eight profile, and folding into concentrically stacked loops suitable for storage inside standard trolley luggage. A restraining strap may secure the final collapsed state. The invention further includes a method for performing the controlled collapse, ensuring predictable folding behaviour, improved portability, and enhanced user convenience compared to conventional mosquito net and/or tent structures."
