MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641043482 A) filed by Marri Laxman Reddy Institute Of Technology And Management, Hyderabad, Telangana, on April 6, for 'a cloud-integrated adaptive multi-stage artificial intelligence system for real-time malware detection and autonomous threat mitigation.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. P. Sridhar; Dr. B Ravi Prasad; Mr Ch Krishna Mohan; Kummari Pooja; Balebiona Amrutha Varshini; Gurrapu Nagaraju; Dr. J Suresh Goud; Mrs. P Ila Chandana Kumari; Dr. G Narsinga Rao; and Mr B Prasad.

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a cloud-integrated adaptive artificial intelligence system for real-time malware detection and autonomous threat mitigation in cloud infrastructures. The system comprises an input acquisition module configured to collect executable files, behavioral data, and network traffic from cloud environments, an adaptive transformation engine configured to convert input data into multi-dimensional representations including image-based, behavioral, and temporal formats, and a multi-stage convolutional neural network pipeline configured to perform hierarchical malware detection through structural and behavioral analysis. A dynamic threat scoring module evaluates malware probability, propagation likelihood, and resource impact to generate a composite risk score. Based on the computed score, an autonomous mitigation controller initiates real-time actions including isolation of affected resources, process blocking, and network restriction. A feedback learning module continuously updates the detection model. The invention provides a scalable, automated, and adaptive solution improving accuracy, response time, and cloud security."
