MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521131501 A) filed by Mit Art, Design And Technology University, Pune, Maharashtra, on Dec. 24, 2025, for 'a cleaning system and method for cleaning hard-to-reach spaces.'
Inventor(s) include Mahek Gada; Nehal Mistry; Rinisa Shah; Kejal Vakil; and Bhavin Vamanrao Mali.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention is a system and method for cleaning and more particularly relates to a cleaning system and method for cleaning hard-to-reach spaces. The intuitive functionality and comfortable design, make it accessible for users of all experience levels. Its simplicity encourages frequent use, while its precision cleaning capabilities enhance performance and usability. The main body provides a secure grip for better control, while the tweezers and the sideways protruding hook-like feature are ideal for tackling intricate cleaning tasks such as removing hair or fibres wrapped around caster axles. The bristled shaft allows for effective sweeping and dislodging of finer dust particles from narrow crevices."
