MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421016950 A) filed by G. H. Raisoni College Of Engineering; and G. H. R. Labs And Research Centre, Nagpur, Maharashtra, on March 8, 2024, for 'a carbon footprint tracking system.'
Inventor(s) include Borkar; Avantika Vikas; Sarve, Janhvi Jivan; Khobragade, Maithili Diwakar; Palshikar, Manasi Sadashiv; Tajne, Tatsavi Narendra; and Deshmukh, Atul R.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention is related to a carbon footprint tracking system is an innovative environmental monitoring solution designed to detect and analyze harmful gases in real-time. Integrated gas sensors, including MQ-7, MQ-8, MQ-135, and MQ-4, accurately detect pollutants such as carbon monoxide, hydrogen, ammonia, benzene, and smoke. Data processed by an Arduino microcontroller is displayed on an LCD screen, providing immediate feedback on gas concentrations. GSM technology enables communication for timely alerts to designated contacts when critical gas levels are detected. With stable power supply and voltage regulation, the system ensures reliable operation. The system's scalability allows for various applications, from individual users to industrial settings, fostering environmental awareness and aiding pollution control efforts."
