MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025284 A) filed by Nirmala, New Delhi, on March 28, 2024, for 'a car door opening signal system.'

Inventor(s) include Anmol Upadhyay.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention provides a system for secure car door opening. The system comprises a push button integrated into the car handle, whereby pressing the button initiates a circuit, a plurality of sensors (6) positioned on the rear side of the car, with the circuit designed to activate the sensors (6) for measuring the distance between the car and other vehicles (2) before initiating the car door (5) opening. A Neon LED board (1) situated at the rear of the car, activating, and emitting a red light to signify the impending car door (5) opening upon circuit activation, and a display screen (4) placed on the car's dashboard, activated by the circuit to showcase the distance between the car and surrounding objects/vehicles (2), ensuring a secure door (5) opening."
