MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411073031 A) filed by Novus Hi-Tech Robotic Systemz Private Limited, Gurgaon, Haryana, on Sept. 27, 2024, for 'a breath analyzer.'

Inventor(s) include Sharad Mehta; Aman Kaushik; Ayushman Agrahari; Lovepreet Singh; Ravi Yadav; and Anuj Kapuria.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a breath analyzer to detect an alcohol concentration. The breath analyzer 100 includes a receiving section 102 and a processing section 104. The receiving section 102 is configured to receive a breath sample from a user. Further, the receiving section 102 comprises a sample collector 106 and a plurality of sensors (108,110,112). The sample collector 106 includes a Venturi tube structure that collects the breath sample of the user. The plurality of sensors (108,110,112) are mounted at different positions within the venturi tube structure of the sample collector 106. Further, the processing section 104 is configured to receive a plurality of data from the plurality of sensors (108,110,112) and process the plurality of data to determine the alcohol concentration in the user's breath sample."
