MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441036914 A) filed by TVS Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on May 10, 2024, for 'a brake assembly for a vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Rakesh Premchand; Sakthi Vignesh Dhayalan; Siddapura Nagaraju Prashanth; and Siddapura Nagaraju Prashanth.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Aspect of the present invention pertains to a brake assembly (110) for a vehicle (100). The brake assembly (110) include a primary member (202), a secondary member (210) is detachably connected to the primary member (202) via a plurality of connecting members (302, 304). In an aspect, the primary member (202) include at least one first cavity (202a) and the secondary member (210) comprises at least a second cavity (210a). In an aspect, the at least first cavity (202a) is configured to overlap the at least second cavity (210a) to form an overlapped portion (402a). In an aspect, the overlapped portion (402a) is adapted to receive at least one of the plurality of connecting members (302, 304)."
