MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641004005 A) filed by Primerail Infralabs Private Limited, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Jan. 14, for 'a boot block assembly and a rail track structure having the same.'

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 27, under issue no. 09/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a boot block assembly (100) which includes a housing (110). A boot block (120) is adapted to accommodate inside a cavity (110-1) of the housing (110). At least one aperture (130) is defined between an outer side (S1) of the boot block (120) and a housing groove (110-5) defined on an inner side (S2) of the housing (110). Also, at least one wedge (140) removably disposed inside the at least one aperture (130). The boot block assembly (100) disclosed herein helps in avoiding a vertical uplift of the boot block (120) from within the housing (110). Also, the boot block (120) can avoid a horizontal movement of the boot block (120) within the housing (110)."
