MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641063432 A) filed by M. Kumarasamy College Of Engineering, Karur, Tamil Nadu, on May 19, for 'a bio adaptive autonomous digital immunity framework for proactive cyber defense.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. V. Banupriya; Mr. A. Durai Murugan; Subalakshmi Sridhar; Sridevi S; Vishva Priya L S; and Varsaa Vihasini S B.
The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an autonomous digital immune system for real-time cyber threat detection and response in computing environments. The system comprises a plurality of distributed monitoring agents configured to continuously collect behavioral and operational data from multiple system layers, including processes, network activity, file systems, external devices, and kernel-level operations. A centralized Brain API server receives and aggregates data from said monitoring agents and performs intelligent analysis using a machine learning engine. The machine learning engine employs anomaly detection using Isolation Forest algorithms and threat classification using Random Forest models to identify, categorize, and assess potential cyber threats. Based on the analysis, the system autonomously determines and initiates appropriate mitigation or response actions. A database is configured to store detected threat information, historical activity logs, and analytical results for further learning and auditing. Additionally, a real-time dashboard provides visualization of system status, detected threats, and response actions to users or administrators. The invention enables proactive, adaptive, and automated cybersecurity protection by mimicking biological immune system behavior, thereby enhancing resilience against evolving cyber threats."
