MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517090488 A) filed by Beone Medicines I Gmbh, Basel, Switzerland, on Sept. 22, for '5-amino-6, 8-dihydro-1h-furo [3, 4-d] pyrrolo [3, 2-b] pyridine-2-carboxamide derivatives as mta-cooperative inhibitors of prmt5.'

Inventor(s) include Li, Jing; Xu, Sanjia; Guo, Yian; and Wang, Zhiwei.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This disclosure provides 5-amino-6, 8-dihydro-1H-furo [3, 4-d] pyrrolo [3, 2-b] pyridine-2-carboxamide derivatives of formula (I), the use thereof for selectively inhibiting the activity of PRMT5 in cooperation with MTA in tumors bearing MTAPDEL mutation, and pharmaceutical compositions comprising the compounds, e.g., for treatment of various diseases including cancer."
