Abstract: The present invention, wearable nicotine withdrawal detection sensor system is configured for continuous and personalized detection of physiological changes associated with nicotine withdrawal during cessation of smoking, vaping or other nicotine-containing products. The system comprises a wearable housing incorporating multiple physiological sensors, an embedded processing unit, wireless communication circuitry, a rechargeable power source and a mobile application. The sensors acquire heart rate, heart-rate variability, electrodermal activity, skin temperature, perspiration and physical-activity parameters. During an initial calibration period, an individualized physiological baseline is established for the user. Subsequently acquired physiological signals are filtered, processed and compared with the individualized baseline to generate normalized physiological deviation scores. A weighted multi-parameter algorithm combines the scores to calculate a Nicotine Withdrawal Index (NWI). The NWI is classified into predefined withdrawal-risk levels and is evaluated against corresponding threshold values and persistence periods. In an exemplary embodiment, an NWI of 50 or above sustained for approximately 2–5 minutes generates a moderate withdrawal alert, while an NWI of 75 or above sustained for approximately 1–2 minutes generates a high-withdrawal alert. The threshold values and persistence periods are configurable and may be individualized following validation. Alerts is delivered through vibration or audible notification on a mobile application, which initiate personalized behavioural interventions by going earliest for medical check up. Physiological data is transmitted to a cloud platform for authorized remote monitoring and longitudinal analysis. The invention provides an individualized approach to continuous nicotine-withdrawal monitoring and timely intervention.
