Abstract: The protective goggles with an integrated eye washer and automatic wiper system is invented for providing continuous eye protection, emergency ocular irrigation and lens cleaning in hazardous working environments. The goggles comprise a protective frame, transparent lens, miniature fluid reservoir, micro-fluid delivery tubes, inner-rim eye-wash nozzles and an external lens-wiper mechanism. The integrated reservoir stores a suitable eye-washing fluid, which is delivered through the micro- tubes to laterally positioned nozzles for controlled irrigation of the ocular region. The external wiper comprises a curved flexible wiping element operated manually to remove dust, droplets, splashes or other contaminants from the lens surface. Separate activation controls enable independent operation of the eye-wash and wiper mechanisms without removing the goggles. The system provides a compact, portable and self-contained solution for ocular safety and keeping visual clarity in construction, industrial, mining, laboratory, agricultural.
