Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for enhancing the performance of photovoltaic (PV) modules through efficient thermal management using hybrid nanofluids. The invention comprises a PV module integrated with a cooling unit containing flow channels through which a hybrid nanofluid—comprising two or more types of nanoparticles uniformly dispersed in a base fluid—is circulated. The hybrid nanofluid exhibits superior thermal conductivity and convective heat transfer characteristics, enabling rapid absorption and dissipation of heat from the PV module’s rear surface. The system operates in a closed-loop configuration with a controlled flow mechanism to maintain optimal temperature levels. This results in significant reduction in module surface temperature, improved electrical efficiency, and extended operational lifespan. The invention provides an effective, scalable, and eco-friendly cooling solution for solar PV systems operating in high-temperature environments.
