Abstract: “OPULENS AI: AN AI-CONTROLLED ADAPTIVE COLOR-CHANGING SMART EYEWEAR SYSTEM” ABSTRACT An AI-controlled adaptive color-changing smart eyewear system capable of physically changing the visible appearance of spectacle frames and/or lenses using adaptive surface technologies such as electrochromic films, electronic ink, programmable pigment layers or nano-coatings is provided. The system integrates a wireless communication module, an embedded microcontroller, a rechargeable power management system and an AI-based appearance engine that analyzes sensor inputs (for example ambient lighting and optional outfit recognition) and user preferences to recommend or automatically apply appearance profiles. Appearance changes are effected by mapping desired appearances to voltage activation patterns applied to the adaptive surface layer, producing non-illuminated, material-like color transformations controlled via a mobile application, voice, gesture or automated AI modes, and optimized for low power consumption.
