Abstract: ABSTRACT “MODULAR AERIAL-BASED DIRECT SEEDING WITH MULTI-CROP DISPENSING” The present invention discloses a method and a system (100) for modular aerial-based direct seeding with multi-crop dispensing. The system (100) includes a multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) (101) comprising a boom (101a), a plurality of seed payload assemblies (102) coupled to the boom (101a) at selectable positions by respective adjustable holders (102a), and a programmable seed dispensing assembly (103) coupled to the plurality of seed payload assemblies (102). The system (100) further includes an Aerial Seed Dispense Controller (ASDC) that sets a rotational speed of the programmable seed dispensing assembly (103) using crop spacing, seed type, and UAV location data. The programmable seed dispensing assembly (103) releases seeds through plurality of flexible arms (105) to respective wheels (107), and each wheel (107) forms a trench in soil, deposits the received seeds through the flexible arms (105) in the trench, and rolls over the trench to cover the deposited seeds.
