Abstract: Present disclosure relates to method and design generation system (101) for 5 generating shape-fitting design (304) of cable duct in vehicle. The present disclosure includes receiving input file comprising plurality of data points for vehicle component (300) in vehicle and predefined instructions for generating shape-fitting design (304) of cable duct for vehicle component (300). The method includes generating first spatial distribution of plurality of data points for cable duct 10 based on predefined instructions. First spatial distribution comprises one or more concavities and voids. The method comprises performing iterative steps for generating second spatial distribution (302) for cable duct using first spatial distribution, until predefined conditions are satisfied to eliminate one or more concavities and voids. Thereafter, method comprises generating shape-fitting 15 design (304) of cable duct for the vehicle component (300), based on second spatial distribution (302).
