Abstract: IOT-ENABLED BEHAVIORAL MONITORING SYSTEM FOR STREET FOOD SAFETY ABSTRACT An IoT-enabled behavioral monitoring system for street food safety integrates a distributed network of multi-parameter sensor nodes with artificial intelligence-driven behavioral analytics to ensure real-time compliance with food hygiene standards. The system deploys compact, low-power IoT nodes at vending locations to monitor environmental conditions, such as temperature and water quality, alongside vendor behaviors using privacy-preserving on-edge computer vision. Collected data is processed via an AI core to generate dynamic safety scores, identify anomalies, and provide predictive risk assessments. These insights are delivered through a societal interface layer that provides safety ratings to consumers, behavioral nudges to vendors, and prioritized inspection dashboards to regulatory authorities. By combining technical sensing with human-centric feedback loops and gamified incentives, the invention fosters a transparent, responsive, and sustainable ecosystem for urban street food safety.
