Abstract: Abstract An intelligent vehicle accident prevention and control system is disclosed for mitigating vehicular collisions caused by operator somnolence or intoxication. The safety architecture includes a sensory acquisition layer comprising an infrared eye-blink sensor configuration for measuring operator palpebral occlusion duration and a biochemical sensor matrix optimized for the real-time detection of volatilized ethanol within a vehicle cabin. A microprocessing command layer employing an Arduino Nano microcontroller executes low-latency data fusion on the gathered sensor streams to dynamically classify an operational threat level. A cascading actuation layer responds to a primary threat threshold breach by deploying localized high-decibel acoustic alarms and steering-wheel haptic vibration signals to stimulate the operator. If the impairment state persists beyond a deterministic countdown window, the microcontroller activates an opto-isolated solid-state engine management relay assembly that safely interrupts the vehicle's primary propulsion circuitry, systematically neutralizing the vehicle's kinetic energy.
